Ein paar Neuigkeiten...

Es gibt noch ein weiteres Konzert anzukuendigen. Und zwar duerfen wir am 23.7. die Band "Dead Western" im Musikbunker in Aachen supporten.

Seit ein paar Wochen haben wir einen Backgroundsaenger: Hans Heldoorn.
Naechste Woche Freitag werden wir erstmals in neuer Besetzung in Maastricht auftreten. Ausserdem werden wir einige neue Songs zum Besten geben.
Also, kommt vorbei und hoert es euch an!

In unserem Shop gibt es T-Shirts und Taschen zu kaufen. Schaut einfach mal rein. Vielen Dank an Manuel, der diese entworfen hat.

Im Winter planen wir ein komplettes Album aufzunehmen. Dazu werden wir die Band um eine Trompete, zwei Streicher und ein Piano erweitern. Einen Trompeter haben wir bereits gefunden und das Piano wird Hans uebernehmen. Leider haben wir noch keine Streicher, deshalb moechten wir hier nochmal dazu aufrufen, euch zu melden.
Gesucht werden zwei Musiker, die Violine, Viola oder Cello spielen. Die Arrangements sind ausgeschrieben, ca. zehn Songs und eure Parts sind recht einfach, ihr muesst also keine Profis sein ;) . Wenn ihr euch jetzt angesprochen fuehlt und denkt ihr koenntet zu unserem Haufen passen, dann schreibt uns eine Email: kaylatones-band@gmx.de

DER SOMMER IST DA!

Und mit ihm viel gute Laune. Die Proben verlaufen gut und wir sind weiterhin auf Gig-Suche um die ersten Konzerte mit Stefan, unserem neuen Schlagzeuger zu spielen.

Schoen ist es in dem Zusammenhang euch gleich die ersten Termine mitteilen zu koennen. Am 25.06.2010 werden wir in Maastricht und am 27.08.2010 in Siegen spielen. Mehr Infos findet ihr in der passenden Rubrik.

Im Jahr 2006 begannen die Schwestern Ruth Pokorra (git/voc) und Esther Fischer (voc) einige Songs zu schreiben. Ein halbes Jahr spaeter entschieden sie sich, ihre Songs nicht nur als Duo zu spielen und suchten nach weiteren Musikern. Es war der Sommer 2007, in dem sie die Band "Kaylatones" gruendeten. Ein Schlagzeuger, ein Bassist und eine Saxophonistin traten dem Duo bei. Doch in der naechsten Zeit aenderte sich die Bandbesetzung fast komplett. Das Saxophon wurde durch eine weitere Gitarre ersetzt, die von Thorsten Kaiser gespielt wird. Der neue Schlagzeuger ist Wouter Gulikers. Nachdem die Suche nach einer neuen Saengerin erfolglos blieb, entschied sich Ruth selbst zu singen. Im Jahr 2009 nahmen sie Ihre Demo - CD "Sand in your shoes" auf. Seit Anfang 2010 werden Kaylatones von dem Schlagzeuger Stefan Klebingat begleitet und seit Mai 2010 von dem (Background-) Saenger Hans Heldoorn.
